Vampire

A scene in slow motion

a girl’s running fast

time stops for a second

she falls down on pieces of glass

cut her hand

her blood comes out

a drop of life

thick and red

oh no, I screamed silently

there’s a vampire before me

the moment blood appears

she gets her wildest face

freaked out, thirsty for my blood

please, I begged, don’t wanna be like you

as I’m in fetal position

strangely enough, she’s that fallen girl

in my clothes

after a second of hesitation

she leaves her prey alive

gets the hell out of my sight



I woke up and checked daylight

phew, it was a dream

like a movie scene

at night, the rapture triggered my anger

the lights started spinning around

inhale, exhale, calm down, no way

slapped myself, banged my head

“stupid, stupid, stupid” I said

“all I wanted was your trust”

an image struck me

the vampire in my clothes

was staring at me

ready to attack my neck

to suck all my love away

“Oh God, please help

She was me

My anger eats me alive”

I let the vampire go

as contrary to movies

Vampires kill lovers

New Year

fireworks above the towers
bright colors of flowers
are warming the cold winter night
for welcoming the new year
eyes are closed
hands are together
to make a wish
for a change
or a chance
to live happily ever after
